So, in short –
no, a Xeon CPU is simply not worth it for gaming.
They are extremely powerful CPUs designed for demanding computing tasks and heavy multitasking, neither of which are required in a gaming PC but in a workstation or a server. Furthermore, Xeon CPUs are overpriced, with most models costing more than 1000$

Simple Version:

Intel xeon usually used for running a server and not for gaming

Hello everyone!

Have a problem with fps drop form 250-300 to 40-60 at any graphic settings on my Asus mx299q ultrawide (21:9) monitor.

My system:
i5-7400
asus h110m
palit gtx1070 dual
ssd/hdd 256+1000
16gb RAM
Win10 - 1903

Also on new maps (Anubis, Chlorine) have more fps drops then on others.
On 1920x1080 (and etc) have no problems.

A little tip: fps drops lower (min 70-80) on low shadows and shaders settings.

Tried to add this to start-properties and had no results:
-novid +mat_queue_mode 2 -limitvsconst -particles 512 -usetcp -nodns -no-browser -noaafonts -nojoy -noipx -high -nod3d9x -threads 4 +mat_vignette_enable 0

Var. and Sw. is ok.

Any ideas?

Try to enable Multicore Rendering
and jut play the game in normal 1080p resolution (1920x1080)
